ALl about me

My journey to fitness started many years ago. (18 years) I worked as a sales manager in central London in a terribly stressful company. I smoked and ate terribly. I always wanted to eat healthily and not to smoke but I had no idea where to start. Eventually I met my future husband and relocated with him to Japan. While I was in Japan I couldn’t work due to my visa status. I had the opportunity to work out every day with a personal trainer, quit my smoking habit with the help of Alan Carr’s book and studied Nutritional therapy through a correspondence course.. I then moved to Australia and qualified as a personal trainer whilst running my first marathon in the Blue Mountains.
I moved back to London, worked for various leisure centres then I gave birth to my son 5 years ago. I lived in Marylebone and felt quite isolated; it was then that a friend suggested I set up a local Buggyfit group, training postnatal women. And this is what I did! – it was a hit instantly, I now earn my living holding Buggyfit classes every morning in various central London parks and personal training. I love my healthy life but often can be found moaning and wishing I had an office job in the depths of cold January and grey February….
Much experience has led me to believe that training alone may not be the answer to a healthy, happy existence. For long term success the home environment should also be looked at it has to be clean, clutter free and organised. A plan for good nutrition is also vital, once these things are in place training to lose weight and look great becomes much easier.
It is my belief that training alone is not always dealing with the problem, or the foundations of the problem. Often, people find that the reason they have got themselves into unhealthy habits is because their life feels out of control. They buy stuff they don’t need and horde stuff afraid to clear it out, maybe they are afraid to move on or feel that it is such a big undertaking they don’t know where e to begin. Body, Mind and soul are affected by the environment we live in; clutter holds us down and prevents our minds from being free.
My approach is 3 fold:
Personal training – Nutrition – organising and decluttering
